In October 2006 AFCO acquired American Flight Services (AFS) fixed base operation at the Reading Regional Airport, Pennsylvania. The deal represents the first for AFCO in PA since building the FBO at Pittsburgh in 2001. 

The FBO offers full service to all general aviation and airline traffic and comprises of four hangars with aircraft ramp and is competed with a fully refurbished FBO building offering pilot and customer comfort a full FBO service.

New business will also come from the high priced aviation markets of New York and New Jersey which is making companies look twice at the relatively low cost of doing business at Reading and commuting back to New York when necessary. The flight time is minimal but the savings significant.

AFCO has the ability, the skills and resources to finance and develop new cost effective hangar solutions for customers at RDG.
