AFCO has appointed Charles “Chuck” Stipancic, Jr. to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer. He will direct AFCO’s Business Development; Design & Construction; Facilities; and Property Administration and Management.
Stipancic comes to AFCO with an impressive background of 20 years in the aviation industry. He spent 14 years with US Airways, most recently as Vice President, Corporate Real Estate, where he successfully guided the company’s real estate restructuring through the bankruptcy process. Prior to joining US Airways, he was involved in the start-up of Presidential Airways and People Express Airlines in various management positions.
“AFCO is fortunate to have a real estate professional of Chuck’s talent and experience to guide the company as it continues to grow and seek new real estate opportunities in aviation and the transportation industry,” said AFCO President and CEO Frank Chambers. “His extensive knowledge and contacts in the airport and aviation industry will be a real asset to AFCO moving forward.”
Stipancic holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
