AFCO has acquired an existing 59,000 square foot air cargo facility at Kansas City International Airport from Avia Development Group - MCI. An investor partnership, organized by AFCO, owns the leasehold, with AFCO providing the management. AFCO's tenants at Kansas City include Airborne Express, Continental Airlines, DHL, Delta Airlines, Federal Express, Jet Delivery Service and Southwest Airlines. AFCO has already acquired air cargo facilities at Los Angeles, Seattle-Tacoma, Baltimore-Washington and Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airports this year.


October 30, 1995, AFCO completed construction of 265,000 square feet of aircraft apron at Kansas City International Airport. Walton Construction of Kansas City, Kansas, was the general contractor for the project, which was designed by Moffatt, Nichol & Bonney of Portland, Oregon.
