A new AGT&T facility at Kansas City International Airport developed by AFCO for Federal Express has received a 1997 Cornerstone Award from the Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City, Missouri for its positive contribution to the economy of Kansas City.  Moffatt, Nichol & Bonney, Inc. of Portland, Oregon is the Architect/Engineer for the project, and Walton Construction of Kansas City, Missouri is the General Contractor. Frank Chambers, President of AFCO, attended an awards luncheon in Kansas City on September 18, 1997 hosted by the Economic Development Corporation.  Kansas City Mayor Emanuel Cleaver, II recognized the award recipients. The AGT&T facility appeared in a slide presentation along with other recipients.
