NEWS » AFCO ACQUIRES LAND NEAR NEW TERMINAL AT INDIANAPOLIS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

AFCO has completed the acquisition of 47.1 acres near the new airport entrance at Indianapolis International Airport. The new terminal is expected to open at the end of 2008. The $5 million acquisition was completed by a joint venture between AFCO and Airport Parking Management (APM), who previously teamed with AFCO for the development of parking facilities at Midway Chicago Airport. The land may be used for the development of warehouse distribution and logistics facilities, and other transportation related infrastructures. Jim Norris, AFCO Vice President, Development, negotiated the terms of this acquisition.
