AFCO has entered into a 15-year ground lease with the City of Dayton to provide management and leasing services for three existing cargo facilities totaling approximately 42,850 square feet at Dayton International Airport. The facilities include a 12,650 square-foot building at 10392-10398 Freight Drive, a 26,670 square-foot building at 10400 Freight Drive and a 3,528 square-foot building at 10450 Freight Drive. AFCO started the process of renovating all three buildings with the 26,670 square-foot facility, which was recently occupied by Menlo Worldwide. AFCO has executed a new lease with USAir-PSA at 10392-10398 Freight Drive and assumed the lease with Mainline Road & Bridge Construction at 10450 Freight Drive.
In addition to these facilities, AFCO has owned and managed five other buildings at Dayton totaling over 125,000 square feet since 1999. These buildings include two sorting and distribution facilities totaling approximately 88,300 square feet occupied by Federal Express, one cargo handling facility and two single-story office buildings.
